NYRA is program run by and for people impacted by Substance Use Disorder and/or racialized drug policies. Our self directed program of "Any Positive Change" aligns with the Transtheoretical Model of Behavioral Change (such as Stages of Change and Motivational Interviewing), an integrative model that conceptualizes the process of intentional behavior change. Evidence for the efficacy of this approach has been documented by over 35 years of peer reviewed research.

One of our most important functions is serving as a low barrier access point for life saving supplies.
